Open House on a Framework for Uptown’s Future Nov. 7th

Our neighbors to the north (Uptown, not Canada) are having an open house on the future of that neighborhood next week. Do you like to visit the Seattle Center or patronize the businesses in Uptown? You should plan on attending this open house and spread the word to your friends and neighbors. See below for more information.

DESIGNING A FRAMEWORK FOR UPTOWN’S FUTURE

IT’S YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, BE A PART OF SHAPING ITS FUTURE.

The City of Seattle Department of Planning and Development and the Uptown Alliance invite you to join us at a community open house. We want to hear from you on where you see Uptown going in the future. Together we can build a framework that will leverage Uptown’s growth to benefit those who live, work, and play in Uptown.

Here are some of the questions we are asking:

What do you love about Uptown?

What do you wish was different?

How do you use the public spaces in Uptown? What would make you use them more?

What role does Seattle Center play in your Uptown experience?

What uses and/or services are missing or needed in the neighborhood?

What issues are we missing?

Remember, your input is critical in shaping the framework for Uptown’s future.
